Curl eyeDecide 1.0

Curl eyeDecide is an application built using Curl's newly released Version 7
Enterprise RIA platform. It features complex visual analysis of global data from
Gapminder.org (www.gapminder.org), and demonstrates the value of visualization
in the analysis of complex data. Curl eyeDecide provides visual analysis of
population, economic, environmental, and health indicators to give insight into
global trends. With eyeDecide, users will be able to examine the cause and
effect of metrics such as income per capita, and life expectancy. By offering
multiple linked views of different data sets and visualizing the data as it
changes over time, eyeDecide enables key causes and effects to be easily
spotted.

HELP
----
Once you have launched Curl eyeDecide, the application's Help menu is accessible
by clicking on the "Curl eyeDecide" text at the upper right-hand side of the
application, or by pressing the F1 key on your keyboard. It provides some
general information about the application, and detailed information about the
many features in Curl eyeDecide.

RELEASE NOTES

o The contrast control applies to the entire workspace, not individual charts.
o The timeline range control handles sometimes get in the way.
o The timeline's current year display sometimes gets in the way.
o The timeline's range control should show endpoint years.
o Animation playback speed (in years per second) is inversely proportional to
  the length of the timeline's range.
o On some configurations the indicator menus appear washed out in gray.
o Bubble mouseovers don't highlight values in ColorWidget or SizeWidget
o Bubbles that are fully encapsulated by other bubbles are difficult to select.
o After changing an indicator, or log|lin, the histograms won't appear unless
  the mouse leaves and re-enters.
o Axis highlights (x & y) are sometimes obscured by the bubble itself.
o Portions of bubbles outside the PlotArea can be highlighted by mouseovers.
o Indicator menus re-elide their display strings on mouse over after startup.
o Trail path doesn't include segment to most recent (head) bubble.
o Trail paths aren't colored in the same way the trail markers are.
o When the opacity of the bubbles starts low, the trail markers for a selected
  country have very faint borders.
o GeoChart doesn't support colorization based on Indicators.
o Log axes only support complete cycles (i.e., whole powers of 10)
o Borders of countries in geo chart are only 1px
o Using the alphabetic list to select countries sometimes causes the timeline to
  lose key focus.
o Highlighted values when a bubble is highlighted "flicker" or "wobble" because
  the length of the string changes.
o Sometimes text elision happens at unexpected times, or doesn't happen when
  expected.
o Sometimes Splash Screen doesn't display soon enough.
o Log axes might not handle zeros, forced ranges and visible values well.
o Sometimes the x- or y-axis scale will yield an unexpected result when you
  fidget with the log|lin button and the zoom controls.
