Are we looking good for Android 4.1 JellyBean on Google Nexus 7? - RobertShiplett - 06-28-2012

The price of 199 USD looks good even with 7" screen - but we should know response to the graphics from users within three weeks !

What is big is that Google resolved its legal battle with publishers, so this may be THE epub reader - so compared to jquery Mobile, CAEDE should be the way to go!

Are we on Android 4.1 beta yet ? Can we be out of beta ourselves for mid-July ?

Here is a list that I linked into the Android OS wp article this A.M.:

4.1 JellyBean
  • Vsync timing across all drawing and animation done by the Android framework
  • Triple buffering in the graphics pipeline
  • Enhanced accessibility
  • Bi-directional text and other language Support
  • User-installable keyboard maps
  • Expandable notifications
  • Automatically resizable app widgets
  • Multichannel audio
  • Bluetooth data transfer for Android Beam
  • Offline Voice Dictation
