The Madras High Court today asked CBSE to grant 196 marks -- 4 marks each for 49 incorrect questions in the Tamil edition of this calendar year's NEET, the federal level medical entrance test -- to people who took the exam for medical admissions at the regional language. The court also said the pupils who took the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) for admission to the medical and dental colleges in Tamil ought to be appropriately compensated to provide a level-playing floor. Tamil Nadu was among the countries with lowest passing percentage in NEET 2019. |
