Curl a ldap authenticated website
Hello:

I want to use curl to get information from an ldap authenticated website.

We run RT (request tracker) and I am trying to extract ticket information using rt's REST protocol:

http://rt.servername.com/REST/1.0/

If I open up RT as normal (with ldap authentication), I can open another browser window and run the REST command successfully.

But these all fail ("RT/3.8.8 401 Credentials required") when running from a command line

curl -u user:pass http://rt.servername.com/REST/1.0/

curl http://user:pass@rt.servername.com/REST/1.0

How do I get curl to ldap authenticate before making the web call? (The basic authentication doesn't work).

Help! - Dan
